How can I change my Synthesia account email address?

This process is only available to self-serve users who sign in with an email and password.


If you use Google login or SSO (e.g. SAML) to access your account, you won’t be able to follow this process. Please contact Synthesia Customer Support for help changing your email.

How to change your email address:

  1. Sign in to Synthesia using your current email and password.

  2. Click your profile icon in the top right corner of the screen, then select Account settings. Under the Account info tab, click Change email.

  3. Enter the new email address you'd like to use, then enter your Synthesia password.

  4. Click Verify email to proceed.

  5. Check your new email inbox for a verification code. Enter the code in Synthesia to confirm the change.

You’ll be automatically logged out after the change and will receive a confirmation message at your new email address. You can then sign in using your new email.


Notes:

  • Updating your email address does not update your billing email. To avoid invoices being sent to your old address, update your billing info in your workspace settings.

  • The new email address must not already be in use in Synthesia. If it is, the update will fail. To reclaim access to an existing email address, please contact our Customer Support team for assistance.
