You can manage which types of email notifications you receive from Synthesia by updating your preferences in your user settings.
Update Your Email Notification Preferences
To change your email notification settings:
Go to User Settings in your Synthesia account.
Select on the Preferences tab.
Under Email Notifications, you can enable or disable the following categories:

Shared video activity
Video Updates
Receive updates on:
Video generation status

View metrics
Avatar & Voice Updates

Essential Communications
You will continue to receive essential emails from Synthesia, including:
Account-related updates
Billing and payment information
These essential communications cannot be disabled to ensure you stay informed about critical account matters.

Why does someone I shared a video with keep getting reminder emails, even though they don't have a Synthesia account?
If someone without a Synthesia account keeps getting comment reminder emails, it's because they haven't yet accessed the shared video. Reminders are sent at 3, 7, 14, 21, and 30-day intervals until they do. There's currently no way to turn off reminders for just one recipient â since they don't have an account, the Video Activity setting above doesn't apply to them. To stop the reminders, either ask them to open the video from the original email link, or cancel the comment request yourself from the same menu you used to invite them.
