To create and edit chapters

  1. Navigate to your video and select the video actions menu in the top-left corner next to your video title.

  2. Select Edit chapters.

  3. Name each chapter.

  4. By default, each scene is a chapter.

  5. To group multiple scenes into a single chapter, click the arrow button. This will nest the scene under the previous chapter.

    1. To ungroup a scene from the chapter, click the back arrow button. This will make the scene its own chapter.

  6. Press Confirm to save the chapters. Once the video is generated, chapters will appear when hovering over the player timeline in video player.

💬 FAQs

What happens if I leave all chapter names empty?

If every chapter name is left blank, chapters simply won’t appear in the video player.

What if I name only some of my chapters?

If you give a name to at least one chapter, any chapters without a name will automatically be labeled with their chapter number (e.g., “Chapter 1,” “Chapter 2”).

Why aren’t my chapter edits showing in the player?

Chapter updates only appear after you re-generate the video. Once the video is re-created, your latest chapter changes will show up in the player.

Can I edit chapters during video generation?

Yes! You can edit your chapters directly from the generation window.
