How do I create content with AI in Synthesia?

Learn how to create content using AI with Synthesia, including our newest updates to assisted user creation.

This feature is only available for Synthesia Starter, Creator and Enterprise Plan Customers.

To create content with AI:

  1. Click the New video button in the top right-hand corner of your screen.

  2. Choose your template, you are able to use any template with this feature, including custom templates.

  3. Select a Brand kit, if required.

  4. Click the Create with AI button

  5. Select your Source: File, URL, Prompt, or Script

    1. For Prompt, describe your video's topic and provide any relevant instructions.

    2. For Script, insert your text into the box to be used word-for-word in the video script. Divide your script into scenes by using paragraph breaks.

  6. Select the length of your project. This will not be the exact duration but an approximation.

  7. Add any additional fields you wish your video to have:

    1. Objective

    2. Audience

    3. Language

    4. Speaker

    5. Tone

  8. Click Create Outline. This will draft an outline of the script.

  9. Edit this outline to cover the right topics and tweak the structure of the outline.

  10. Click Create Video. Script and scenes will be displayed.

  11. Click Generate Video to create the video as is, or click Continue in Editor to modify any elements.

  12. Once complete, click Generate at the top right of the page.

Notes:

  • Accepted file upload types are: .ppt, .pptx, .pdf, .doc, .docx or .txt files.

  • For file uploads there is a 50MB max size limit.

  • If you use the Script option, the number of scenes will be determined by the number of paragraphs in your script.
