When you request deletion of a specific avatar, video, or voice, Synthesia permanently deletes all copies from the system within 90 days. Synthesia provides written confirmation once deletion is complete.
Once you confirm a deletion, the action cannot be undone, even though full removal from all systems can take up to 90 days.
When An Account Is Terminated Without a Deletion Request
If an account is terminated without a specific data deletion request, Synthesia automatically deletes all associated avatar, video, and voice data within 90 days of account termination.
✍️ When you delete your avatar, the credit is reallocated back to your account. The credit becomes available for use as soon as you confirm the deletion — you do not need to wait for the 90-day process to complete.
