When you request deletion of a specific avatar, video, or voice, Synthesia permanently deletes all copies from the system within 90 days. Synthesia provides written confirmation once deletion is complete.
When an account is terminated without a deletion request
If an account is terminated without a specific data deletion request, Synthesia automatically deletes all associated avatar, video, and voice data within 90 days of account termination.
✍️ Deleting your avatar reallocates the avatar credit back to your account. The credit becomes available for use as soon as you confirm the deletion — you do not need to wait for the 90-day process to complete.
