Workspaces and Content Search are only available to our Synthesia Enterprise Plan Customers.

If you would like discuss upgrading your plan, contact the Synthesia Support team or see the How do I upgrade my Synthesia plan? guide.

When a user is removed from a workspace or their account is terminated, the content they created in the workspace (e.g., videos or templates, etc) remains in the workspace and accessible to other workspace members.

What happens to the user's videos?

  • Workspace videos: Any videos or templates created by the user in the workspace stay accessible to other workspace members.

  • My Videos: Videos in the deleted user’s My Videos section that were shared with others will still be accessible to those members.

    • If someone has Full access to a shared video, they can move it to the Workspace section.

How can Org Admins access a deleted user's content?

With Content Search, Org Admins can:

  • Search across all users, videos, and templates — including private or personal projects.

  • Add themselves as collaborators on any content.

  • Move videos/templates into shared workspaces.

  • Edit and share content to keep team workflows running smoothly.

To access Content Search:

  1. Go to Organization Settings.

  2. Click the Content Search tab.

  3. Click Show all content to browse all videos and templates.

  4. Use the search bar to filter by title, user, or workspace.

  5. Click the three dots next to any result and select Add as collaborator.

Data retention policy

According to Synthesia’s security policy, it may take up to 90 days for account data to be permanently deleted after account termination. Therefore, any videos in the My Videos section will not be immediately deleted.
