How to Loop or Stretch your video

Learn more about how to achieve better timing on your projects, by looping or stretching your video.

There are several options within Synthesia that you can use for the timing of your video:

  • Cut / Loop - The video will be either cut or looped based on the script length: if the script is shorter than the video, it will be cut; if the script is longer, it will be looped.

  • Stretch - The video is stretched by either speeding it up or slowing it down to fit the script.

  • Play once - The video only plays once and then stops, regardless of the script length.

You will find all of these options in the right-hand menu, as shown in the screenshot below.

These options allow you to achieve better timing on your video to ensure the script and video correspond accordingly.
