📣 Introducing our brand new feature to Synthesia, Avatar Builder! 📣
The new feature allows to really bring your projects to life! The three main advantages of using Avatar Builder are as follows:
Brand Personalisation: You are able to customise avatars with your logo and brand colours, making your identity consistent and engaging in every video.
Consistent Messaging: Maintain a uniform brand voice and style across all of your projects, allowing for brand cohesiveness.
Enhanced Engagement: Personalised avatars capture attention and enable a deeper connection with your audience, making your messages more impactful and memorable, leading to a higher engagement rate.
How to Customise Your Avatar
As previously mentioned, you are able to personalise your avatar through adding logos and changing the colour of their clothes.
To do this, simply navigate to the Avatars section, select the avatar you wish to customise, select the three dot menu option and click Customize.
You can currently only customize V3 avatars.
Alternatively you can navigate to the Avatars page, select Create avatar and selecting Avatar builder and customize Avatar
You will be taken the the Avatar builder section. From here you can select clothes colour - by choosing from either:
One of our Palettes
Or using the colour picker, or entering the hex code for your chosen colour.
Once you have the colour required for your avatars shirt colour, click Apply and the new shirt colour will be shown in the builder.
How to Add a Logo to an Avatar
This section of the feature is not available to our Starter and Creator plans.

You are the able to choose a logo for your Avatar to have. You can have up to 4 logos on each one of your customized avatars!
To do this, click the Add logo option. From here, you can choose to upload your logo or choose an existing logo in your library.
Alternatively you also have the option to find a logo through our Brandfetch integration in the media picker.
Once you are happy with your logo choice, it will display on the avatar and you will be able to resize and move the logo to the desired location. Alternatively if you wish to remove the logo, simply select the image and use the delete button on your keyboard.
When you are happy with your customised avatar, you can also give the new style of the avatar a name using the Look field, which is searchable in the Avatars section. You can also preview how your avatar will look using the Preview option in the builder.
When you are happy with all your choices, click Generate. Synthesia will then generate the avatar, which may take 15 -20 minutes to complete. However you don't have to wait to start using the customised avatar in your project!
Simply add the avatar to your project and begin creating! 🥳
You will need to wait to generate your video with your customised avatar, until the avatar has completed the generation process. You can generate up to 5 avatars at one time.
