π This guide applies to Basic, Starter, and Creator plans only. Enterprise plan customers cannot downgrade their plan through account settings. To make changes to your plan, contact your Customer Success Manager or reach out to Customer Support.
Downgrading your plan in Synthesia is managed from your billing settings. The change does not take effect immediately β it is scheduled for the end of your current billing period, so you keep access to your current plan until then.
Downgrade your Plan
Go to Settings, and then select Billing.
Select Change plan. All available plan options will be displayed.
Choose the plan you want to move to.
Select Downgrade.
βοΈ Your downgrade takes effect at the end of your current billing period and therefore will have no proration.
Cancel a Scheduled Downgrade
If you change your mind after scheduling a downgrade, you can cancel it before the billing period ends.
Go to Settings, and then select Billing.
Select Cancel downgrade.
Your plan will remain unchanged at the end of the billing period.
