Written by Meg Farley

Add Text

  1. Once in the Editor select on Text at the top of the canvas

  2. Select the type of text you want for your video:

    • Title 1

    • Title 2

    • Subtitle

    • Body

    • Caption

  3. Once selected, a text box will appear onscreen with the text 'Add Text'.

  4. Select into the text box to edit.

Resize Text

  1. Select the text box in your video canvas.

  2. Drag a corner handle to adjust the font size dynamically.

  3. Move the text around the canvas by dragging the text box.

Resize Text Inside a Shape

You can scale both the shape and the text proportionally by either:

  • Holding the Shift key while resizing the shape.

  • Locking “Constrain proportions” in the Inspector Panel before resizing.

This keeps the text and shape proportional as you scale.
