Picking A Question Type

Start by selecting a Quiz element from the Components panel.

  • Single answer (radio buttons): viewers can select only one option.

  • Multiple answer (checkboxes): viewers can select more than one option.

  • Results: viewers can see their score and if they passed or failed.

Adding and customizing questions

Once you choose a question:

  1. Add it to a scene – it will snap to the left side of the canvas.

  2. Edit the question text and answers by clicking directly into the component.

  3. Mark the correct answer(s) for quiz questions using the option buttons.

  4. Style your question using the side panel:

    • Adjust font, color, and shape to match your video’s design.

  5. Reposition or resize the question freely like any other video element.

  6. Animate the question using entry/exit triggers if needed.

Marking questions as scorable or non-scorable

You can designate quiz questions as non-scorable to give learners instant feedback without impacting their final score.

  • Enable or disable scoring for each question from the side panel.

  • Learners will see correct/incorrect feedback immediately after answering non-scorable questions.

  • Non-scorable questions are excluded from the overall quiz results.

Adding a results screen for quizzes

To wrap up a quiz, add a Results component to any scene.

With the results component, you can:

  • Set a pass/fail threshold.

  • Show a message based on the score.

  • Enable a Retry option:

    • Adds a Retry button to the video.

    • Viewers are taken back to the first quiz question to try again.

Setting up logic to control flow

You can define what happens after a viewer answers a question using logic statements.

  • Use Always logic to trigger a single action every time.

  • Use If / Else logic to define outcomes based on viewer responses.

    • Add multiple If rules with AND conditions for advanced branching.

Example: If a viewer answers a question incorrectly, you can redirect them to a scene that explains the correct answer.

Understanding how the video player behaves

Interactive questions change how your video plays for viewers:

  • Questions are blocking — viewers must respond before continuing.

  • The timeline is hidden while a question is visible.

  • If viewers rewind the video:

    • Previously answered questions appear in their submitted state.

  • If they click the Retry button, they can re-answer the quiz from the start.

💬 FAQs

What buttons appear on interactive questions?

All questions include “Submit” and “Next” buttons to guide viewers through the interaction.

Why doesn’t the “Next” button work on the last scene?

If a Results or Question component is placed on the final scene, the “Next” button will appear but won’t have any effect.
