The Synthesia watermark appears on videos generated under certain conditions, such as being on the Basic plan or generating a video in API test mode. This article explains how to remove it in both cases.
✍️ If you are on the Basic Plan:
The Synthesia logo (watermark) will appear on all videos created with your account. To remove it, upgrade your plan and re-generate the video.
Using the API? Here's why a watermark might appear
The presence of a watermark depends on how you've configured the test parameter:
When
testis set to true, the video will include a watermark, but no video minutes are consumed.When
testis set to false, video minutes are consumed, and no watermark should appear.
To remove the watermark from a video created with test set to true, send a new request with test set to false. You cannot remove the watermark from an existing test-mode video after it has been generated.
