How do I add allowed domains to my workspace?

Learn how to add allowed domains to your workspace so members from a specific email domain can join automatically.

Written by Jess Diaz-Gomes

Adding allowed domains lets anyone with a matching email address join your workspace automatically, without you having to send them an individual invite. This is useful for teams who want new colleagues to get set up right away.

Adding Allowed Domains

  1. Select on Account Info and select the Collaboration tab.

  2. Under the Workspace discoverability, click the allowed domain drop down.

  3. Select the domain in the list and users from this domain will now be allowed to login to your workspace.

  4. To remove a domain from the allowed list, click the cross option on the domain.

✍️ Domains in the list are generated from existing workspace members. If you want to add a domain to the list, invite a user from that domain, check out our article How do I invite users to a workspace?

💬 FAQs

What happens if I invite a Guest whose email is already on my allowed domain list?

They're added as a full Member instead of a Guest. Since their email domain matches an allowed domain, Synthesia gives them the same access level as other members from that domain rather than Guest-level access.
