How do I manage and troubleshoot my Media library?

Learn how to manage, edit, and troubleshoot your media in Synthesia — from uploading and organizing assets to using stock libraries and fixing common image issues.

Manage your uploaded Media

✍️ Media Library asset are available to all users within the same workspace.

There are several ways for you to manage media in Synthesia.

  1. Hover over any uploaded media in the library.

  2. Click the 3-dot menu to:

    • Rename

    • Download

    • Delete


Using stock Media

📌 Synthesia provides access to stock images and videos via integrated libraries

  • Free plan users may see watermarked previews.

  • Paid plans have access to Getty stock media in full resolution, without watermarks.

To view creator info for stock media

  • Hover over the asset to see the creator's name, or

  • Click the 3-dot menu, select Copy id, then search on the stock provider’s site for full details.


💬 Troubleshoot Common Media Issues

Blurry images?

First, check that the Blur setting is set to 0% in the right-hand menu.

If blur is set to zero and the image still looks blurry, don’t worry — some images may appear slightly blurred in draft mode, but they will render in full quality in the final generated video.

Blank or missing images?

This could be a browser caching issue. Try:

  • Clearing your browser cache

  • Restarting your browser

  • Reloading the Synthesia platform
