What is Avatar B-roll?
Avatar B-roll lets you use any of the six new stock avatars in a short, AI-generated clip where the avatar can move—like waving, walking, or dancing—based on your text prompt. It’s ideal for enhancing storytelling by showing action, not just telling it.
Create Avatar B-roll
Create a new video or open an existing one.
Choose one of the six new stock avatars that support customizable outfits and space backgrounds.
(Optional) Select a custom outfit and/or a custom space background. Both are optional — you can also keep the default outfit and space.
Select Media at the top of the page.
Under the Create with AI tab, find the prompt box showing the avatar and space currently used in your video.
Enter a text prompt describing the action you want the avatar to perform, or press Tab to automatically generate a prompt based on your video script.
Select the AI model you’d like to use to render the clip.
Click the blue arrow to generate the clip. This will consume credits and render your Avatar B-roll.
