Written by Meg Farley

If a user is part of multiple workspaces in your organization, you can remove them from one workspace without affecting their account or access to others.

How to remove a user from a workspace

  1. Go to the Workspace Members list of the workspace.

  2. Find the user you want to remove.

  3. Select the 3-dot menu next to their name.

  4. Select Remove from Workspace.

What this does

✅ Removes the user’s access to that workspace only

✅ Keeps their access to other workspaces and the organization

Who Can Do This?

  • Workspace Admins can remove users from their own workspace.

  • Organization Admins can remove any member from any workspace in the organization.

Need to Remove Someone from the Entire Platform?

If you want to remove a user from the entire organization (including all workspaces), go to the Organization Members list and remove them there.

💬 FAQs

What happens to a removed user's videos?

Removing someone from a workspace doesn't delete their videos. Their content stays in the workspace and remains accessible to other members based on their roles and permissions. If you want the content deleted, you can remove it manually, or request full data deletion when the account is terminated — this can take up to 90 days to complete.
