How are Dubbing Minutes Calculated?
When you dub a video into multiple languages, the minutes used will be equal to the number of languages you are dubbing into. For example, if you dub a 1 minute video into 3 languages, 3 minutes will be deducted from your account.
If your video does not pass moderation, the minutes used for dubbing will not be deducted from your account. This ensures that you are not charged for videos that do not meet our guidelines.
For Enterprise Users:
For our enterprise users, dubbing minutes are deducted from a separate minute balance. This means that your general video minute allowance will not be affected by dubbing. Instead, you will have a separate balance specifically for dubbing minutes.
Dubbing minutes are sold as a separate annual subscription. Prices vary by volume. Please contact your CSM or Synthesia Support for more information.
Minutes are allocated at the workspace or organization level. This means that all users within a workspace or organization will have access to the same dubbing minute balance. This allows for easy management and tracking of dubbing minutes within a team.
Additionally, users do not need a full license to use dubbing. Restricted license users will be able to use AI Dubbing as long as they have access to the workspace or organization.
For Self-Serve Users (Freemium, Starter, Creator):
For our self-serve users, AI dubbing consumes minutes from your general video minute allowance. This means that the minutes used for dubbing will be deducted from the same balance as your general video minutes.
