What Is a Voice Clone?

A Voice Clone is a custom voice that replicates your own. It is automatically created when you generate a Personal Avatar, but it can also be used independently of the avatar.

Steps to use your Voice Clone:

Follow these steps to select your voice clone in the video editor:

  1. Open the Script Box

    • In your video project, locate the script box where you input your text.

  2. Access the Voice Selection Menu

    • Hover over the avatar and voice icon in the script box.

    • A dropdown menu will appear for both avatar and voice selection.

  3. Open the Full Voice List

    • Click the down arrow next to the currently selected voice.

    • In the dropdown, click Back to all languages at the top.

  4. Select Your Custom Voice

    • Scroll to the bottom of the language list.

    • Click on Custom voices.

    • Choose your preferred voice clone from the list.

Notes:

  • Creating a personal avatar automatically generates a voice clone. See the How do I create my Personal Avatar? article to learn more.

  • Your voice clone and personal avatar are independent.

  • You can use your voice clone with any avatar, not just your own.
