How do I edit a video with translations?

This feature is only available for Synthesia Enterprise Plan Customers.

Translations will not automatically reflect edits made to the original video. Retranslate the original video for these edits to be reflected across translated versions of the video.

To retranslate your video:

  1. Make the desired edits to the original video.

  2. Select the language option next to the title of your video.

  3. Click Add translation. In the Select Languages dropdown menu, select the Retranslate all option.

  4. This will update the drafts of your existing translated videos. If these videos have already been generated and published you will then need to manually re-generate the drafts and then re-publish the video for these updates to be reflected in the final versions.

Notes:

  • You can individually select which language you would like to retranslate if you do not wish to retranslate all.

  • You can add new translation languages when retranslating.
