Your user settings in Synthesia let you manage key aspects of your account—like your profile details, notification preferences, API key access, and workspace settings (if you're on an enterprise plan). Here's how to access them and what you can adjust.
How to Access Your User Settings
To open your user settings:
Click your user icon in the top-right corner of the home page.
Select Account info from the dropdown menu.
From here, you'll be able to access several key settings.
What You Can Do in User Settings:
Update your profile - Edit your name or upload a profile picture to personalize your account.
Secure your account - Use the option to log out of all devices for enhanced security if you're signed in across multiple locations.
Manage email preferences - Choose whether you'd like to receive product updates and new feature announcements from the Synthesia team.
Access your API key - Navigate to the API tab to view and copy your API key—needed for integrating with other tools.
Manage your workspace (Enterprise only) - If you're part of an enterprise workspace, you’ll also be able to:
Upload a custom workspace logo
Define default permissions for new users
Remove yourself from the workspace using the option at the bottom of the page
Notes:
Treat your API key like a password—keep it secure.
If you leave a workspace, you'll need to be re-invited by an admin to rejoin.
