Why is my payment to Synthesia unsuccessful?

Find out why your payment to Synthesia may have failed and the steps you can take to resolve it.

Synthesia accepts all major debit, credit, and prepaid cards, as well as other payment methods. If your payment has failed, follow the steps below to resolve it.


Troubleshoot a failed payment

Work through each of the following steps to identify and fix the issue.

  1. Check that your card details and billing address are correct.

  2. Check that your card has not expired.

  3. Check that your account has sufficient funds.

  4. Check for a text message or push notification in your banking app — your bank may require you to authenticate the payment.

  5. If you still cannot complete the payment, contact your bank directly.

✍️ Your transaction may need to be verified by your bank. Even if your card details are correct, some banks require additional authentication before processing online payments. Check your banking app or contact your bank directly if the payment continues to fail.
