Billing and Payment Issues
If you are experiencing any issues regarding payments, including double charges or issues with changing a payment method, please contact our support team by live chat or via email.
Payment Methods
To create a Synthesia account, please visit this page.
Personal, Starter, Creator plans: we accept payments through all major debit and credit card providers and direct debit.
Corporate plans: we accept credit cards and bank/wire transfers.
At the moment, we do not accept payments through PayPal, cryptocurrency, bank transfers, wires or any alternative payment methods
Unsuccessful / Failed Payments
We accept all major debit, credit and master cards, if your payment is unsuccessful or appears to have failed please check the following:
Card details entered match and have the correct billing address
Card expiry date
Sufficient funds are available
If all above details are correct please try an alternative card or contact our support team. Please note we do not currently accept PayPal payments.
Billing Information
To access your billing information, go to Settings > Billing Information where you are able to:
Change your credit card details
Change your address
Change your VAT information
See previous invoices
Refunds
Under our Customer Terms of Service, our Customers agree that their purchases are non-cancellable and non-refundable. Our goal is to maximize your use of our Services and we are here to support you should you need guidance on how best to effectively use our features to power your use cases.
Unfortunately, a refund is not possible under these circumstances.
Discounts
We do not offer any general discounts, student discounts or different pricing for non-profits or educational institutions.
