1. How to Add Text

First, learn how to add text to your canvas. If you're using a blank canvas, select the text button available in the top toolbar. Here, you have three options, you will be able to add:

  • A Title

  • Subtitle

  • Paragraph.

In this example, we have selected to add a Title.

A title box will appear on your canvas, allowing you to enter the text for your title. Position your text wherever you want on your canvas by selecting and dragging across the canvas. Once you've placed it in the right position, release.

To add a subtitle or a paragraph text, repeat the process.

If you're using a pre-populated template, it will already have pre-written titles, subtitles, and paragraphs to give you some inspiration. You can choose to keep the layout and amend the wording by selecting the text box.

Alternatively, you can select the text, right-click, and delete if you would like to start again.

The pre-populated assets are locked. Therefore, if you would like to make any changes, remember to select the Unlock Element button, as seen below.

2. How to Style Text

To edit your text, simply select it and head over to the right-hand side menu, as seen below.

From here, you can style your text by changing the font family, font size, font colour, and positioning. You can also make it stand out in bold, italics, or by underlining your title or just a word.

Select Font Family

Apply Font Size

Change Font Colour

You are also able to adjust the Positioning of text, and and make your text Bold, Italic, or Underlined.

3. How to Upload Font

This feature is only available on our corporate plan. If you would like to upgrade to a corporate plan contact our teams.

Supported font formats include: .otf, .ttf, .woff, and .woff2.

Head over to the font dropdown and select Upload Custom Font.

This will generate a pop-up screen allowing you to select your own font. We support the vast majority of popular fonts, and you only need to upload it once before it's saved in your font selection.
