To change the colour of an element, click on it. In this example, we will change the colour of the shape behind the title. You can also use the following steps to change the colour for titles, subtitles, and paragraphs.

Start by selecting the element, as shown below.

This will populate the format menu for your element in the toolbar on the right-hand side.

To change the colour, use the colour pop-up menu as shown below.

In this example we have changed our elements to blue (#1A4BFF).

But that's not all! You can also change the gradient by switching to the Gradient tab. Use the toggle bar under the colour palette to set the desired style.

Finally, Synthesia remembers the colour choices you have selected for your scenes, allowing you to quickly reselect them without having to search for the same colour again.

You can change the colour of all scenes in three simple steps. In this example, we will change the colour of the shapes within our scenes. You can also use the following steps to bulk change the colour for titles, subtitles, and paragraphs.

Let's begin! Currently, all of our scene shapes are set to colour #FABD0D. Select a single element in your scene as shown below.

Next, proceed by using the format menu for your element in the toolbar on the right-hand side and change it to your desired colour.

Once you have selected your desired colour, the change will be applied to the selected element. To apply the change to all scenes, select Change all.

And just like magic, all of your scenes have changed to the desired colour!
