📌 Point-in-time editing is currently in beta.

What is point in time editing?

Point-in-time editing lets you add and adjust scene elements at the exact moment they should appear, all while staying in preview. This means you spend less time switching between edit and preview modes, and more time getting the timing right.

How to Edit Elements at a Specific Timestamp

  1. Open a scene that contains triggers.

  2. Move the playhead to the moment you want to work on.

  3. Select an existing element from the canvas, or insert a new one.

    • The playhead stays anchored to the timestamp you selected.

  4. Edit the element's position, timing, or properties as needed.

  5. Continue previewing from the same point without jumping back to the start.

✍️ If an element has a slide-in or slide-out animation and you pause while it is mid-transition, the selection box may appear at the element's final position rather than its in-between position.
