The Swap Shot effect lets you change an avatar’s camera angle or zoom level mid-script—just like a traditional video production using A-camera and B-camera shots. It’s a simple way to add visual variety and keep your viewers engaged.
How to Add a Swap Shot:
Select an avatar that supports multiple angles or zooms.
These avatars are marked with a multi-camera icon in the Avatar page.
Click on the avatar element in the canvas.
Select the word in the script where you want the shot change to occur.
Choose Swap Shot from the animation menu.
Customize the Swap effect using the panel that appears:
Select your desired camera angle.
Choose a zoom level.
Set a delay.
Preview your video to see the swap shot in action by scrubbing the timeline or using the scene preview.
Notes:
Swap Shot only works with avatars that support multiple camera angles or zoom levels (currently available only for stock avatars).
The canvas shows the starting shot. To view the Swap Shot in action, scrub through the timeline or use scene preview.
