What is Scene Preview?
Scene Preview lets you render and check how an avatar will perform on a single scene directly from the Synthesia editor. Use it to review performance before committing to a full video render.
Without Scene Preview, checking how an avatar performed on a specific scene required generating the entire video. With Scene Preview, you can iterate on individual scenes and see the result in a fraction of the time.
How to use Scene Preview
Open a video project in the Synthesia editor.
Select the scene you want to preview.
Select Generate preview for this scene button at the scene level.
You'll be given two options of generation:
Audio only
Generate Avatar.
Wait for the render to complete. You can select Cancel to stop the render at any time.
Review the avatar's performance in the preview.
âď¸ All Scene Preview requests are moderated. Synthesia checks each request against its content policies before generating the preview.
Limitations
The avatar performance can only be re-rendered together with the voice. There is no way to regenerate just the avatar performance while keeping the existing audio.
If you change the script, voice, or avatar framing after a preview, the existing performance is deleted. Select Preview again to generate a new one.
