2. How to record your screen in STUDIO
To record your screen, select the "Record" button in the top menu of your STUDIO, as shown below.
You have the option to record your entire screen, a specific window, or a Chrome tab.
If you've already typed your script in the Script Box, it will begin playing automatically when you start recording. This feature helps you synchronise the screen recording with the audio.
After finishing the recording, return to your STUDIO and press either "stop" or "stop sharing" on the screen you are currently on. This will automatically add your recording to your STUDIO scene. You also have the option to discard, which will end your current session without saving it, or pause it. Currently, each recording can only be up to 5 minutes.
The screen recording is also saved in your media "my library" and becomes an asset that you can reuse in the future.
Once your recording is added to your scene you can expand or minimise your video to fit your entire scene or a section of your scene by dragging the outline of your recorded video accordingly.
While your screen recording is selected, you can also use the menu on the right-hand side to send it forward or backward. This enables you to add additional assets, titles, images, avatars, and more on top of your recording.
In addition, you can trim your video to suit your needs. To learn how to trim your screen recorded video, follow this handy guide. You also have the option to manage the timing of your screen recording, making it even easier to achieve your desired outcome. To learn more, follow this guide.
